Mata Manchester'a doğru

Arsenal menajeri Arsene Wenger, Mata transferinin zamanlaması konusunda Chelsea ve Mourinho'yu suçladı.

Mata'yı "büyük oyuncu" olarak niteleyen Wenger, "Mata gibi büyük bir oyuncuyu ülke dışına değil de doğrudan rakipleri olan bir kulübe satmaya karar vermeleri büyük sürpriz" dedi.

Wenger'e göre Mata'nın Manchester United'a satışı şampiyonluk yarışındaki diğer takımlara zarar verecek ve Chelsea'ye avantaj sağlayacak. Mata'nın Manchester United'a büyük güç katacağını belirten Wenger "Chelsea bu satışı geçen hafta yapamazdı. Ama artık yapabilir çünkü Manchester United ile oynayacakları maçları bitirdiler. Oysa yarıştaki diğer tüm takımlar Manchester United ile oynamak zorunda" dedi.

Wenger "Eğer futbola ve adil oyuna saygınız varsa böyle şeylerin peşinde koşmamanız gerekir. Ama kuralları yapan da Chelsea değil, belki de kuralları yeniden düzenlemek gerekiyor" dedi.

Mata için iki kulübün anlaşmaya vardığı ve oyuncunun da transferi istediği belirtilirken, transfer bedelinin 37-40 milyon sterlin(43-47 milyon €) aralığında olduğu tahmin ediliyor. Mata, önceki iki sezonda da Chelsea'de yılın oyuncusu seçilmişti. Transfer gerçekleştiği takdirde İspanyol futbolcu, Manchester United tarihinin en pahalı oyuncusu olacak.

Arsene Wenger has expressed concern over Juan Mata's impending £37 million move to Manchester United, claiming that Chelsea "do not do the rules".

Wenger believes the timing of the move has some benefit to Chelsea, with all of their title rivals still to face a United side that will now be boosted by the arrival of Mata.

"I am surprised," Wenger said of the deal. "Juan Mata is a great player and they sell a great player to a direct opponent.

"It opens again a little bit the opportunity of this transfer market because Chelsea has already played twice against Man United. They don't play against them anymore.

"They could have sold him last week [before United's game at Stamford Bridge]. It opens at least the dates of this United.

"If you want to respect fairness, that should not happen. You would want that everyone is on the same level. Chelsea do not do the rules. Maybe the rules should be adapted to more fairness."
