RAMALLAH, GAZA - FEBRUARY 20: Palestinian journalist Omar Nazzal hugs his relatives and friends right after his release from Israel's Ofer Prison in western Ramallah where he was held for 10 months. Nazzal says AA reporter that Israel targets Palestinian journalist as they defend Palestinians' rights through their pens and cameras, adding that he has been held under tough conditions in prison to demoralise him and eventually to bow him down. Nazzal who is a member of Palestinian journalist union of The Democratic Journalists Assembly was detained on April 23, 2016 at Al-Karameh border crossing between West Bank and Jordan. He was under administrative detention which allows Israeli authorities to keep Palestinians in prison without charge or trial for months.
